What are the different ways for me to update my kitchen cabinets?

There are three ways to update your existing kitchen…replace, reface and refinish.

What is the difference between refacing and refinishing?

Refacing replaces your drawers and doors. A veneer is glued to the outsides of your cabinet boxes to match the look of the new doors you've selected. An average kitchen can cost between $6,000 - $10,000.

Refinishing takes the existing doors, drawers, boxes and refinishes them to look like new or give them a completely different look. An average kitchen costs about half that of refacing…between $3,000 - $5,000.

Is refinishing as durable and long-lasting as refacing?

Absolutely. The products we use are the best in the industry. We prepare the surface with the utmost care. The products, when fully cured, are strong and long-lasting.

How do I prepare my kitchen for the work to be done?

We will remove the doors and drawer and take them to our workshop. You can leave all your items in the cabinet as is. We may need to push a few things back to give us access to the edges but your kitchen will be fully useable.

How long does the process take?

An average kitchen takes 10 to 12 working days, excluding weekends.

How do I clean my refinished cabinets?

A simple soap and water regimen is recommended (as you would clean any cabinets.) No scouring powders or sponges.
